Meet Abdul Aziz
The Artist
Abdul Aziz grew up right in the neighborhood where he now makes his beautiful purses, wallets, bracelets, and backpacks. He’s there each day, opening his shop waiting on tourists to stroll by and purchase his unique, handcrafted items.
The History
He has been working with leather goods for about 15 years of his life. Abdul Aziz and his brother, Abdul Ali, have been working together for years in their quaint leather shop near the waterfall in the old city walls of Chefchaouen, Morocco. Abdul Aziz was trained to make leather goods in a local association and has received many awards and certificates for his work.
