About the Product & Artist

Mohammad is a blind man who has been weaving on traditional wooden looms since he was a child. He has been making beautiful wool blankets and pillows in the Old City Square of Chefchaouen, Morocco for tourists for the last 30 years from an association that was set up to serve the blind in having a reasonable independent income for their families. The blankets are soft and work well as a cover for your twin size bed or as a folded blanket to go over the foot of your queen or king sized bed. They also do well as decoration on your couch or chair.

You can also custom order any size or colors that you would like. Please send us an email with the dimensions and a picture of the color(s) you would like. We can have these made by the artisan and shipped to you within 4 weeks.
